Sarah completed her RIBA Part I and Part II at the University of Sheffield. Her work focussed on marginalised users experience of the city and buildings themselves. Upon completion of her Part II, she worked for Hawkins\Brown on community, higher education and residential projects, notably the RIBA Award Winning Beecroft Building for the University of Oxford Physics Department. She completed her Part III at London Metropolitan University. At dRMM she has gained experience of residential and infrastructure projects, working at planning stage through to construction.
She is particularly interested in the social aspects of architecture, making places for people and how users can influence their environment. Both at University and in practice she has worked with children and young adults to expand access to Architecture for people from less advantaged backgrounds. She is also on the committee for Architecture LGBT+, helping to plan and coordinate various architecture related events.
