Andy studied Architecture at the University of Brighton before completing his Masters Degree at the Royal College of Art. In Brighton, where he also worked in practice, he discovered a love for the wider design spectrum from illustration to product design. Keen to develop a multidisciplinary approach, he returned to London to finish his studies at the RCA. He is particularly interested in social and critical views toward architecture, especially his personal intrigue into social class and taste, which he explored in his masters thesis.

At dRMM Andy is currently applying his knowledge and enthusiasm towards the design of a cinema. Outside of work he enjoys emulating meals he has sampled along his travels in his own kitchen (albeit to a slightly lower standard!).
