The session focuses on how a collaborative approach and a joined-up vision from the start of a scheme can lead to a better outcome for all stakeholders and, ultimately, Londoners.
London Stand at 14:30 – 15:00 – Town Centres 2050: Is there a future beyond retail and do communities have a role in shaping London’s town centres?
The session explores the potential impact of new technology and infrastructure on how we live, work, shop and play; and whether these trends are being taken into account in the planning and development of new regeneration projects.
UK Government Pavilion at 13.00 – 13.45 – Manchester Airport: Fulfilling the potential of one of the UK’s greatest growth corridors.
The session examines the potential of the Liverpool to Hull growth corridor and the significant momentum that the Northern Powerhouse has gained with over £100bn of planned investment.
