As part of the Housing Forum conference on 9th July, The London Society has launched an architectural Routemaster tour around King’s Cross.
dRMM’s award-winning residential building – ArtHouse – is the second stop on the tour. dRMM were selected through competition to develop designs for this key residential building, which defines the standard for new homes within the 67 acre King’s Cross regeneration. ArtHouse sits between the Granary – home to the University of the Arts London, and Kings Place – home to two concert halls, galleries and a national newspaper. The building was awarded the Mayor of London Housing Design Award in 2014, and shortlisted in the RIBA London Awards, Camden Design Awards and London Planning Awards.
dRMM director Philip Marsh will provide details on the design development of ArtHouse to the Routemaster passengers next week. For more information please visit the Housing Forum website.
