dRMM have been shortlisted in the Building Design (BD) Architect of the Year Awards for the third consecutive year.
This year the studio has been recognised in the Sport & Leisure category. dRMM has previously been named BD Housing Architect of the Year 2014-15, BD Education Architect of the Year 2013-14, and overall BD Architect of the Year 2013-14.
Our 2016 submission includes projects at different scales, stages, and with different agendas: a cinema, a visitors’ centre and restored pier, and a private health & fitness centre. They all have a common aim: to show that architecture is not a backdrop to recreational activities but an organising and inspirational participant.
We are delighted to have been shortlisted and wish all of our fellow nominees the best of luck for the awards.
